Presently, I know at my core performance is more important than ever; this artistry can truly help foster compassion in times of conflict and I believe in the power of acting as a medium for effecting social and political change. There is no better time in our history than to use performance to positive ends. Having said this, as someone who performs for any audience, on a deeper level I carry an inherent obligation to hold myself to a standard of perfection, so that when given the opportunity and avenue to share other’s voices and stories, I do so in the most truthful and authentic way, with fidelity. I know full well that sharing my voice comes with great responsibility and carries the potential to cause change. Essentially, acting makes me a better human, and I am truly dedicated and passionate about pursuing this as a lifetime vocation.
